Well made bit of kit

Reviews: Fiskars 9461 16-Foot Power Lever Tree Pruner

I've only used one other pole trimmer before so I am not privy to how they ALL work, but I have to say this one is VERY good. If it had a bit less flex when fully extended, I'd have given it 5 stars. Otherwise, buy with confidence that you're getting a good tool. I used it last night to cut down probably 20 branches on my and my neighbors soft maple trees. The saw is sharp and cuts quickly. It's hard to get a lot of leverage when fully extended, but that's par for the course when the saw is 16 feet away from you and on the end of a poll that retracts into itself. The pruner/shear works VERY well and is setup to give you a lot of cutting power with very little pull of the rope. Weak spring? I didn't have that issue at all... Would I buy this tool if this was the tool I used EVERYDAY? Probably not. I'm sure there are better (more expensive) units out there for those that use them on the job. For the person using it at home. IT'S PERFECT!!!

Overall... A good buying experience.
