I did have to tape the foam handle cover as it was beginning to tear but I do not view that as a real negative. I was able to trim a pine tree with the saw attachment very close to the maximum length. By crv: I found it impossible to find any trimmer over 12' in the stores and was elated to find a quality manufacturer with a 16' length. It is well built and easy to use as there are two extending sections, so the trimmer can be used for shorter heights as well.
