So easy to use that my wife helped me and even got carried away with the cutting. She is only about 5'-3" and 110 lbs wet. By mickeyd: Used this item on several trees. The snap blade cut thru branches with ease. Haven't use the saw part yet, but did find that when working in tight places and using the snap blade, it might be easier to take the saw blade off. Otherwise it can get in the way and hang up the pruner. The extension worked fine. Had no trouble with it slipping at all. Made short work of the spring trimming. The rope lock takes some getting used to, have not mastered that function yet.
